Events and Programs

The Office of  Mission and Identity (M&I) offers many opportunities for the larger Loyola community -- from students and faculty/staff to alumni, parents and the larger New Orleans community.  We offer programs, speakers, retreats and service opportunites.  We offer the sacraments and opportunities to learn more of the Jesuit/Catholic mission of our school.  In the holistic view of Ignatius, M&I offers events and programs that stimulate the intellect, soothe the spirit and energize the body.

A wide variety of activity for faculty/staff, alumni and the larger community are offered by Mission and Identity, including the Ignatian Colleagues Program, the Ignatian Faculty Fellows and the Ignatian Staff Fellows.

University Ministry offers a full range of activities for students, which includes retreats such as the Awakening retreat, service programs such as LUCAP and the Ignacio Volunteers international immersion programs.  Also offered are sacramental offerings such as daily mass, confirmation prep and RCIA.  You can join a Christian Life Community (CLC) or attend our student mass each Sunday at 9:00pm in Ignatius Chapel/Bobet Hall.
