In the tradition of St. ignatius and from the belief in the power of the Gospel to transform the world, the Office of Mission and Ministry provides a variety of opportunities for a student to live a reflective life of action for service, justice, and peace.

In our commitment to a mission of a faith that does justice, Loyola University New Orleans will be launching a new multifaceted and multipurpose Center for Volunteer Service in fall 2011. We are currently reaching out to those inside the university, greater New Orleans, nationally, and internationally to form this center with the best possible systems and structure to serve our partners, students, faculty, and staff while fulfilling the mission of our Jesuit identity.
