Ignatian Awards for Outstanding Seniors and Graduate Student
A Call for Nominations
All members of the Loyola University New Orleans community are invited to submit nominations for the 2014 Ignatian Awards for Outstanding Senior Man and Woman and Graduate Student. These awards are open only to graduating seniors and those completing their graduate degrees who will be recognized at the 2014 Commencement ceremonies. These are the highest student awards presented by the University and will be awarded at the Baccalaureate Mass at 4pm on Friday, May 9, 2014.
This award is given to one undergraduate senior man and woman and one graduate student who has distinguished her/himself by:
- involvement in the life of the university;
- representing Loyola with honor and distinction;
- living a strong faith commitment;
- maintaining a distinguished grade point average.
Commitment to the integrity of life, the demonstration of providing service to others, high regard for Ignatian, Jesuit values and contributions to the advancement of religion and citizenship are also important criteria for this award.
Nominations may be made by any member of the Loyola University New Orleans community. Students may self-nominate as well. Nomination forms must be fully completed and submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org or by hand to the Office of University Ministry (Bobet Hall/ Room 104).
Nominees will be notified and invited to submit an application.
Deadline for nominations is Friday, April 4, 2014 at 5:00pm.
